Pete & Karen Spiak

Pete & Karen Spiak are missionaries in the Philippines, partnering with Richfield Springs Bible Church.

From his earliest days in the Richfield Springs Youth Group, Pete felt the call to go where God would have him minister.

In 2023, this call became a reality.

Pete & Karen’s current ministries include witnessing to abuse victims at the Crisis Center; an Orphanage Ministry, building genuine connections with kids; Home-Based Ministries, fulfilling a dream of establishing a church; a Worship Ministry, nurturing young talents; and a Scholarship Program, empowering local students for leadership roles.

Pete & Karen see their primary purpose as to “Speak the truth in love” and believes that these ministries support this purpose.

Consider a direct donation to this growing ministry. Pete & Karen would also appreciate your ongoing support. You can make a one-time donation or sign up here to automatically support with a monthly donation of any amount:

See below for more detail on Pete & Karen’s ministries:

*Crisis Center Ministry:* This is our sanctuary for the abused and victims of human trafficking. We’re consistently making a difference. One individual, whom we’ll call “Michelle” to protect her privacy, was once reserved, but now, she’s opening up. She even sought prayer for her and her son. Together, we formed a circle, laid our hands on her, and prayed. The transformation has been remarkable—she’s become more extroverted and is spreading positivity within our group.

*Orphanage Ministry:* In this ministry, we also incorporate giveaways. “Sam,” one of the kids, trusted us with his parents’ incarceration story. We’re steadily building a genuine connection. People often say I’m different from other foreigners, and that I’m approachable. I give thanks for this favor, knowing it’s a gift from God.

*Home-Based Ministries and Church Fulfillment:* Our home serves as a place to host ministries, and soon, we aspire to launch a home church.

*Worship Ministry:* Here, we’re nurturing young talents. Several kids have made substantial progress and continue to contribute to our worship team.

*Scholarship Program:* For local high-school students grappling with poverty, we’re initiating an internship program. They’ll be involved in church activities and attend Bible classes. Additionally, we’re providing twenty students with full scholarships for a year. This is about nurturing them to be the next generation of leaders.
